year a lot of change the factory behind me one year ago did not really exist at all there was just a few small structures uh but most of the foundation was just completely flat and they were just putting in footings and concrete squares all the entire area before they started putting the structure up but it’s just been an amazing year and this is the last day so 2021 is coming to a close before we get into the new year i want to say thank you very much to all of my viewers all of my patreons and all of the support that i have received over this year i certainly could not have done the video without all of your help and your support so thank you very much i also want to make a shout out to the contractors the workers the tesla employees everybody that’s been putting a lot of work into making this factory what it is it’s been an incredible journey and the amount of work that they did cannot go unnoticed and unappreciated so just amazing work to all of the people that have made this factory what it is and finally i just want to say thank you to tesla and to elon musk for allowing me the opportunity to fly every other day all year to bring you gigatexas and show you all that has been going on so again 2021 this is the last day 2022 should be an exciting year and i can’t wait to start showing you some more videos next year so thank you very much before we get into the video there’s a few things i want to go over today in the introduction first this is the last day of 2021 and happy new year i also have some breaking news about giga texas that you’ll want to hear and i’m going to show you a few sites from around the factory today so let’s go over some of the breaking news that i learned on site from a trusted source actual production of gigatexas model wise will begin next week that is the week of 2 january 2022. tesla employees are already driving finished model wise inside the factory and several completed cars have already been sent off site and out of state for crash and other testing and i have heard that some cyber truck production equipment and materials are already arriving at the site but for now they’re being stored and or staged inside the main factory for assembly and later installation sometime in 2022 but i think those are some significant news that i would like to pass on and moving on to the roof on the west side above where the main entrance area is new development and that is it appears that laundry solar panels are being delivered and those are the ones in the crates that you see in photos one and two these solar panels are made in china and it looks like these are going to be installed on the roof they may spell out the word tesla but we’re not sure at this time also if you look on photo 3 it looks like these may be some of the mounting brackets for the panels but we’ll continue to monitor this the link on the bottom is for you to get more information about this company up at the paint shop area we take a look at the temporary loading platform on photos one and two and we see some materials being moved out also in the video the door is open so i’m able to peer inside that area of the factory to get a little bit of idea what’s inside so take a look in the video photo 3 is a close-up of those i’m not sure if those are aligning rigs or testing rigs or rigs for the paint shop for the bodies to be on but let me know what you think that they are in these images we’re near the battery cell structure on the northwest corner photo 1 and photo 2 show the concrete that has been poured for the loading areas and driveways on the west and north west and north corners of that building and you can see that some of that’s been cross-cut already and then photo 3 looks like a large manifold system being test fit looks like they’re doing this on the outside of the factory to make sure everything works and then it removed on the inside not sure exactly what it is but i think it may be related to the heating system and finally we take a look at the east parking lot area and the areas where they’re clearing out for potentially more construction and or parking areas photo ones just shows where those trailers are and some of the equipment along the side parallel to the main building photo two shows that new clearing area and then photo 3 shows where those trailers are being located to at the north near the electrical substation so that’s a wrap up of a very eventful day on the last day of 2021 at giga texas as you see on these images the first and the last day of gigatexas from the same vantage point and the amount of change that has happened in one year we also see that solar panels appear to be being installed on the roof and we have heard that actual production will begin next week very
