Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: I’m gonna start this video off by getting something out there in the open I have never been a huge user of action cameras or 360 cameras for the last little while when I have needed one I have the DJI Osmo action and when I need a 360 camera I always had the insta 360 1x but when I heard that insta 360 was coming up with the insta 360 one our and it was gonna be not only a 360 camera like this but also there were going to be other modules like the fork a regular old action camera module as well as the one-inch sensor module I must admit that that definitely piqued my interest if for nothing else just to figure out what it’s all about and whether it would be worth it to add to somebody’s personal so what we’re gonna do today is actually go and test these things out because I have a couple of questions that I want answered so without further ado let’s get into unicorn mode and go try this sucker out Cain put on I’m no chill no to do okay hit a five outside got you one of your fish yeah tell the DJ turn it up [Applause] now the roof is burning up we got the names calling us but I don’t think they heard [Music] [Music] using a new camera in any way shape or form is going to take some time to get used to and I decided to double up today because I’m actually shooting this portion on a new camera that I can’t quite talk about yet but I’m very excited about but regarding the 1r I ran into one little hiccup as soon as I left my building I went to connect to the app and at first it looked like everything connected fine and I actually quite liked the insta 360 app but what happened is as soon as I connected it to the app the actual 1r itself froze up total freeze up power button did nothing I had to remove the battery now in the couple of times that I’ve pulled it out and like played around with the settings and that kind of stuff I’ve never had that problem happened before so maybe this was just a one-off thing maybe I just did the right sequence of things that made it freeze up but I just figured I’d let you know about that but other than that one little hiccup it was super easy to connect to the app get all my settings set up and hit record to do that Trek over here now I must admit the 360 portion of this camera isn’t exactly the most exciting part to me just because it seems very similar to what we already know from the insta 360 1x not to say that that isn’t exciting but we’ve just seen it before it’s very exciting that in one camera you can do so many different things like I said before we’ve got the 360 module this one here we’ve got the kind of typical action cam 4k module and then we’ve also got the one inch sensor which is something that is pretty darn new to the action camera world now the way that this works is you’ve got your entire camera and then there’s a little switch here that allows you to pull off the battery and then these other parts just pull apart like that this kind of brain module has your charging port on one side it’s got the connections on the other side on the front it’s got the insta 361 our logo as well as a tally light and then on the back we’ve got screen so that you can see what you’re shooting and the cool thing about this screen is that you can actually flip it around either way so whether you’re filming yourself or you’re filming someone else you can set it up so that you’ve got at the right direction and when you’re ready to put it all together you just stick the camera onto the brain and then slap the battery onto the bottom and you’re good to go and that’s your basic layout of it and there’s an airport now I’m currently being eaten alive by mosquitoes so I think we’re gonna move on and try and find somewhere without so much open grass the tricky part here is trying to find a place that has a nice background but isn’t covered in grass I’ve only had the insta 360 one hour out for a little bit I haven’t really had a chance to get my own bearings around it and that kind of stuff in there a couple of questions that I really wanted answered the first of those questions is how’s the audio quality both on board and using an external mic using their little USBC adapter this is a test using the 4k module I am using the selfie stick so it’s about foot and a half away from my face I’d say and I’m using the internal microphones with the wind noise reduction turned off this is the one inch sensor and you might be able to see a little bit of fluff up at the top because I’ve got the rode videomicro on top with a wind sock on it so so I mentioned before that I had a weird issue where it froze up on me and just now I finish the take and I got this really weird looking screen with all these colors on it and then now the things totally frozen up I think I’m gonna have to take off the battery again now the next thing is that I am outside but I am in quite a shaded area there’s lots of dark parts here so I’ve got it in full auto so how is it handling it and we’re going to compare this to the one inch sensor this is the one inch sensor this is how that looks in that same spot how does it compare to the regular 4k sensor we’re currently shooting in 5.6 pay and of course on the one inch sensor so it should be doing better with the dynamic range and clarity now the one issue that I’ve seen people have is that because it’s fixed focus and it’s an F 2.8 lens you end up with problems with getting your focus correctly and the minimum focusing distance so if I bring this too close I might go out of focus then the screen is doing something really weird and finally we’re going to run to see how the flow state does [Applause] [Applause] all right so we’re back at home I’ve had a chance to look at the footage that we got when we were out doing our test so I’m gonna give you guys my kind of thoughts on what my experience was shooting with all three of these modules now obviously I did run into a couple of problems with freezing and there was something weird happening with the screen at one point it basically felt like dealing with any computer really there are gonna be times when it hangs up or it doesn’t work how you think it’s going to and then you restart it and it’s fine definitely something that insta 360 can work on is the stability of the product but it didn’t really get in the way too much the thing that I was most excited about checking out was the quality difference between the regular 4k kind of action cam module and the one-inch sensor module now having watched back the footage from both of them I did see an improvement in dynamic range and clarity from the one-inch sensor which makes sense you’re getting a larger sensor they teamed up with Leica to make this lens ideally it should be better but I wasn’t exactly expecting was the huge shift in color now I left it on auto settings the whole time except for the white balance which I just set to daylight and yet there was still a pretty significant color shift between the one-inch sensor and the action cam 4k sensor and luckily I didn’t really have a huge issue with that close focusing distance problem that I’ve been hearing about online in that test I brought the camera so uncomfortably close to my face like I would never bring it that close so I wouldn’t really worry too much about that you’re really not gonna get a whole bunch of shallow depth of field but if you were gonna use it for something like vlogging and you wanted to make sure that your face was in focus I think it was doing a good enough job now that being said the one-inch sensor didn’t blow me away as far as quality goes it still does kind of have like an action cam type of look to it now as you guys saw when we did the test for audio we ran into some serious problems first of all the inbuilt microphones are not great and the handling noise is terrible so when you’re actually touching the camera itself there’s a lot of noise going on there but most cameras have pretty bad sounding internal microphones and it’s nice that insta 360 has adapter so that you can plug in your external microphone and to add on to it their case actually has a cold shoe on it which is really nice for being able to actually hold your external microphone you want to make sure that you get a small external microphone because as you saw in the clips before when I had my rode videomicro on there you can see it in the frame first and foremost I tried with the DAT microphone and I know that those microphones aren’t necessarily compatible with all cameras so I wasn’t sure if it was gonna work or not and I could not get it to be recognized by this camera but then after that I tried the rode videomicro and I came up with a weird problem the level of the microphone was so quiet as you saw before I had to boost it by more than 40 decibels which the problem with that is that it brings up the noise floor too so as you heard there’s a ton of noise in there with it now that doesn’t seem like something that insta 360 would let slip through all of their camera so I have a funny feeling like I have a module with a bug in it or maybe the adapter is broken or something along those lines I did test the microphone with some other cameras and it’s working fine so it’s gonna be something either with the brain portion of this or the adapter itself that’s broken and I need to get replaced hopefully it’s not like that on a lot of units now that being said with the rode videomicro I could definitely tell that the quality of the audio was better once you kind of listened past the noise you could tell that you were getting much better quality audio which will be nice to have once I can get that fixed the case and the mount that they used for the insta 361 are our typical action cam GoPro type mounts and I also appreciate that there’s a button up here to undo the whole case rather than just having it be done with like friction one thing to note is that with the one-inch version you actually have to unscrew the front lens cover to get it out of the case so if you’re gonna be switching a lot that can be a little bit annoying the other thing that I’ve never been a huge fan of when it comes to 360 cameras is the workflow but they’ve improved that significantly here once you connect again so 361 are to your phone you can actually view all the footage that’s on there and start doing your editing while the footage is still on the actual camera itself then once you’re done your edit you can dump just what you need onto your so first of all it takes up less space on your phone than having to dump it to the phone first and second of all you don’t have to wait for it to dump to start going through all of your footage and my favorite thing by far is something that they call free capture now they’ve got this new intelligent thing where it tries to find small clips out of your 360 footage and I did try that I’ve seen other people who have gone through this and had more success but in my specific clip it didn’t really work too well however with free capture all you do is you hold up your phone like you were watching a 360 video and you move it around to move the camera all of those clips that you saw of me riding my one wheel to the destination that was one nine and a half minute long clip and all I did was watch through it held down the button and I could zoom in and zoom out so that I could get things like the tiny planet or a little bit closer on any kind of a subject and then I just moved the camera around to where I want it I looked a little bit like a lunatic spinning around in my chair and getting tangled up in my headphone cable but it made it super easy to get through the whole clip then I dumped that entire nine and a half minute clip to my phone and then onto my computer and then I could take out all the little pieces to make that sequence that might be a changer from me being someone who doesn’t really like to use 360 cameras to enjoying it so overall even though I had a couple of problems here and there I do think that this can be quite useful and like having the one-inch sensor I don’t think that the 4k sensor is really gonna get much use for me in the way that I work I really only need one or the other of these two and then it’s really nice not to have to carry an action camera and a 360 camera I can just carry the action camera and then keep the 360 module with me it takes up a little bit less space and you’re working with the same camera in the same software which is really nice but as always I want to know what you think are the problems that you saw me having enough to scare you away from it or are the advantages of the modular design enough to entice you leave a comment down below and on your way down there make sure to hit that like button subscribe to the channel and hit the bell notification so you don’t miss when I post new videos thank you so much for watching and 0.06 that Trek over here now I must admit the
0.06 360 portion of this camera isn&;t exactly
0.06 the most exciting part to me just
0.06 because it seems very similar to what we
0.06 already know from the insta 360 1x not
0.06 to say that that isn&;t exciting but
0.06 we&;ve just seen it before it&;s very

0.06 finally we&;re going to run to see how
0.06 the flow state does

0.06 all right so we&;re back at home I&;ve had
0.06 a chance to look at the footage that we
0.06 got when we were out doing our test so
0.06 I&;m gonna give you guys my kind of
0.06 thoughts on what my experience was
0.06 shooting with all three of these modules
0.06 now obviously I did run into a couple of
0.06 problems with freezing and there was
0.06 something weird happening with the
0.06 screen at one point it basically felt
0.06 like dealing with any computer really
0.06 there are gonna be times when it hangs
0.06 up or it doesn&;t work how you think it&;s
0.06 going to and then you restart it and
0.06 it&;s fine definitely something that
0.06 insta 360 can work on is the stability
0.06 of the product but it didn&;t really get
0.06 in the way too much the thing that I was
0.06 most excited about checking out was the
0.06 quality difference between the regular
0.06 4k kind of action cam module and the
0.06 one-inch sensor module now having
0.06 watched back the footage from both of
0.06 them I did see an improvement in dynamic
0.06 range and clarity from the one-inch
0.06 sensor which makes sense you&;re getting
0.06 a larger sensor they teamed up with
0.06 Leica to make this lens ideally it
0.06 should be better but I wasn&;t exactly
0.06 expecting was the huge shift in color
0.06 now I left it on auto settings the whole
0.06 time except for the white balance which
0.06 I just set to daylight and yet there was
0.06 still a pretty significant color shift
0.06 between the one-inch sensor and the
0.06 action cam 4k sensor and luckily I
0.06 didn&;t really have a huge issue with
0.06 that close focusing distance problem
0.06 that I&;ve been hearing about online in
0.06 that test I brought the camera so
0.06 uncomfortably close to my face like I
0.06 would never bring it that close so I
0.06 wouldn&;t really worry too much about
0.06 that you&;re really not gonna get a whole
0.06 bunch of shallow depth of field but if
0.06 you were gonna use it for something like
0.06 vlogging and you wanted to make sure
0.06 that your face was in focus I think it
0.06 was doing a good enough job now that
0.06 being said the one-inch sensor didn&;t
0.06 blow me away as far as quality goes it
0.06 still does kind of have like an action
0.06 cam type of look to it now as you guys
0.06 saw when we did the test for audio we
0.06 ran into some serious problems first of
0.06 all the inbuilt microphones are not
0.06 great and the handling noise is terrible
0.06 so when you&;re actually touching the
0.06 camera itself there&;s a lot of noise
0.06 going on there but most cameras have
0.06 pretty bad sounding internal microphones
0.06 and it&;s nice that insta 360 has
0.06 adapter so that you can plug in your
0.06 external microphone and to add on to it
0.06 their case actually has a cold shoe on
0.06 it which is really nice for being able
0.06 to actually hold your external
0.06 microphone you want to make sure that
0.06 you get a small external microphone
0.06 because as you saw in the clips before
0.06 when I had my rode videomicro on there
0.06 you can see it in the frame first and
0.06 foremost I tried with the DAT microphone
0.06 and I know that those microphones aren&;t
0.06 necessarily compatible with all cameras
0.06 so I wasn&;t sure if it was gonna work or
0.06 not and I could not get it to be
0.06 recognized by this camera but then after
0.06 that I tried the rode videomicro
0.06 and I came up with a weird problem the
0.06 level of the microphone was so quiet as
0.06 you saw before I had to boost it by more
0.06 than 40 decibels which the problem with
0.06 that is that it brings up the noise
0.06 floor too so as you heard there&;s a ton
0.06 of noise in there with it now that
0.06 doesn&;t seem like something that insta
0.06 360 would let slip through all of their
0.06 camera so I have a funny feeling like I
0.06 have a module with a bug in it or maybe
0.06 the adapter is broken or something along
0.06 those lines I did test the microphone
0.06 with some other cameras and it&;s working
0.06 fine so it&;s gonna be something either
0.06 with the brain portion of this or the
0.06 adapter itself that&;s broken and I need
0.06 to get replaced
0.06 hopefully it&;s not like that on a lot of
0.06 units now that being said with the rode
0.06 videomicro
0.06 I could definitely tell that the quality
0.06 of the audio was better once you kind of
0.06 listened past the noise you could tell
0.06 that you were getting much better
0.06 quality audio which will be nice to have
0.06 once I can get that fixed the case and
0.06 the mount that they used for the insta
0.06 361 are our typical action cam GoPro
0.06 type mounts and I also appreciate that
0.06 there&;s a button up here to undo the
0.06 whole case rather than just having it be
0.06 done with like friction one thing to
0.06 note is that with the one-inch version
0.06 you actually have to unscrew the front
0.06 lens cover to get it out of the case so
0.06 if you&;re gonna be switching a lot that
0.06 can be a little bit annoying the other
0.06 thing that I&;ve never been a huge fan of
0.06 when it comes to 360 cameras is the
0.06 workflow but they&;ve improved that
0.06 significantly here once you connect
0.06 again so 361 are to your phone you can
0.06 actually view all the footage that&;s on
0.06 there and start doing your editing while
0.06 the footage is still on the actual
0.06 camera itself then once you&;re done your
0.06 edit you can dump just what you need
0.06 onto your
0.06 so first of all it takes up less space
0.06 on your phone than having to dump it to
0.06 the phone first and second of all you
0.06 don&;t have to wait for it to dump to
0.06 start going through all of your footage
0.06 and my favorite thing by far is
0.06 something that they call free capture
0.06 now they&;ve got this new intelligent
0.06 thing where it tries to find small clips
0.06 out of your 360 footage and I did try
0.06 that I&;ve seen other people who have
0.06 gone through this and had more success
0.06 but in my specific clip it didn&;t really
0.06 work too well however with free capture
0.06 all you do is you hold up your phone
0.06 like you were watching a 360 video and
0.06 you move it around to move the camera
0.06 all of those clips that you saw of me
0.06 riding my one wheel to the destination
0.06 that was one nine and a half minute long
0.06 clip and all I did was watch through it
0.06 held down the button and I could zoom in
0.06 and zoom out so that I could get things
0.06 like the tiny planet or a little bit
0.06 closer on any kind of a subject and then
0.06 I just moved the camera around to where
0.06 I want it I looked a little bit like a
0.06 lunatic spinning around in my chair and
0.06 getting tangled up in my headphone cable
0.06 but it made it super easy to get through
0.06 the whole clip then I dumped that entire
0.06 nine and a half minute clip to my phone
0.06 and then onto my computer and then I
0.06 could take out all the little pieces to
0.06 make that sequence that might be a
0.06 changer from me being someone who
0.06 doesn&;t really like to use 360 cameras
0.06 to enjoying it so overall even though I
0.06 had a couple of problems here and there
0.06 I do think that this can be quite useful
0.06 and like having the one-inch sensor I
0.06 don&;t think that the 4k sensor is really
0.06 gonna get much use for me in the way
0.06 that I work I really only need one or
0.06 the other of these two and then it&;s
0.06 really nice not to have to carry an
0.06 action camera and a 360 camera I can
0.06 just carry the action camera and then
0.06 keep the 360 module with me it takes up
0.06 a little bit less space and you&;re
0.06 working with the same camera in the same
0.06 software which is really nice but as
0.06 always I want to know what you think are
0.06 the problems that you saw me having
0.06 enough to scare you away from it or are
0.06 the advantages of the modular design
0.06 enough to entice you leave a comment
0.06 down below and on your way down there
0.06 make sure to hit that like button
0.06 subscribe to the channel and hit the
0.06 bell notification so you don&;t miss when
0.06 I post new videos thank you so much for
0.06 watching and I&;ll see you next time
